Shopping Centre Footfall is massive, with shoppers coming from miles around for the ease and range of shops that centres offer.
Footfall is calculated in a number of different ways depending on the shopping centre.
Some centres use a basic “count & click method” taking the throughput through each entrance at various stages throughout the day and calculating the average daily traffic flow from that.
Other centres employ the Company “Footfall” who calculate footfall based on video footage or even heat sensors at entrances.
All of our footfall figures are reported and verified by the British Council of Shopping Centres.
We are the only mall medium that can ensure everyone entering a shopping centre will have an opportunity to see our panels, and therefore we can base our coverage figures on the footfall through each centre.
